Outdoor Sphere Sculpture Buying Questions
How large an outdoor sphere can you make?
Up to 3000 mm diameter on the standard press tooling. Larger forms are built as fabricated sculpture rather than pressed spheres.
Which grade should an outdoor sphere be?
304 for inland gardens and parks. 316 for coastal sites, pool surrounds and roads that get de-icing salt.
How is the sphere fixed down?
With a welded pedestal, spigot, flange or base plate made to suit the base you already have. Send the base detail with the enquiry.
Does a mirror sphere need maintenance?
Wash with clean water and a soft cloth. Avoid wire brushes, abrasive pads and chloride cleaners. There is no repainting cycle.
Can you supply drawings for the foundation?
Shop drawings are supplied for large pieces so the groundworks package can be closed before delivery.
