Superfinewire Flexible metal conductors

Conductors that survive ten million flex cycles

Tinsel wire, speaker lead wire, copper stranded wire, precision copper foil and heater wire, engineered around the bending, resistance and solderability targets your cable has to hit. Standard solid wire breaks where a cable flexes, swings or gets soldered repeatedly.

What we make

Tinsel wire, speaker lead wire, extremely fine copper foil, copper stranded wire and heating wire, plus conductors in special metals on request.

Who we serve

Cable and component makers building medical, robot, aerospace, charging pile, automotive, drag chain and consumer electronics cables.

What we solve

Your cable fails at the conductor, not at the jacket. We build the conductor so the finished cable meets several targets at once.

How we start

Custom resistance, diameter and plating, with samples and no minimum order quantity.

Product Range

Five conductor families, one engineering question: what does your cable have to survive?

Industries We Supply

The industries that break conductors, and what each one breaks them with.

How an Order Runs

  1. Send the targets

Resistance, outer diameter, tensile strength, swing and solderability, stated together rather than one at a time.

  2. Conductor designed

Foil width, lay, strand count and plating are chosen so the finished cable meets all of the targets at once.

  3. Sample and verification

Samples are supplied with no minimum order quantity so the conductor can be proven in your own cable before volume.

  4. Production on two shifts

Two shifts run without interruption, and the conductor keeps being iterated as the market moves.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is tinsel wire and why use it?

Copper foil wound over a textile core. The core takes the bending strain and the copper follows it as a thin foil, so the conductor survives flex counts a drawn solid wire cannot approach.

Can you hit a resistance and a diameter at the same time?

That is the point of the tinsel construction. Because the copper is a foil rather than a drawn strand, foil width and lay can be traded against each other to hold both numbers, which a fixed gauge cannot do.

Is there a minimum order quantity for samples?

No. A conductor can only be judged inside a finished cable, so the sample has to come before the commitment rather than after it.

Can you supply conductors in metals other than copper?

Conductors in special metals are available on request, typically where weight, temperature or qualification requirements rule out ordinary copper strand.
