Concrete cover grating
Hook-type steel covers that sit in a concrete kerb or pit and lift out for cleaning, made to the opening rather than to a stock size.
A cover panel has to do two contradictory things: sit still under traffic and come out by hand when the chamber below needs clearing. The hook detail is what reconciles them, and it is the part of the specification that is most often left vague and most often wrong.
We make the hook to the kerb you actually have. A cover made to a stock size and then packed out with mortar rocks under load and rattles under every vehicle, and the noise is what the building owner complains about rather than the engineering.
