A fuel tanker earns its money by carrying more than one grade on the same run. Compartment count and volumes are set against the mix of products you actually deliver, so the vehicle is not half empty on every trip.
Pump, meter, hose reel and grounding arrangements are specified to the fuel regulations of the destination country, and the fittings supplied are export grade rather than domestic substitutes.
