Every Stage and What Goes Wrong at It

Each stage below is a place projects normally lose time. This is what Raybaca does at each one.

Select

The problem. A chip that local scanners cannot read is worse than no chip at all.

How we solve it. Chips follow ISO 11784 and ISO 11785 at low frequency, the standard the pet scanning world is built on.

Implant

The problem. An inconsistent implant procedure risks migration and distress.

How we solve it. Pre-loaded transponder syringes make the implant a single controlled movement at the standard site.

Verify

The problem. A chip that was never read after implanting may not be there at all.

How we solve it. The chip is scanned immediately after implanting and the code is recorded before the animal leaves.

Register

The problem. A code with no owner attached identifies nothing.

How we solve it. The pet management system holds the code against the owner and the animal's history.

Recover

The problem. Shelters cannot act on an animal they cannot identify.

How we solve it. Any compliant scanner, including the compact Raybaca pet reader, reads the code and returns the owner record.
