Shenzhen Maoping Sculpture Arts Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer of metal balls, art metal balls, metal hemispheres and fire pit balls. The company was founded in 2007 and is located in Shenzhen, China.
We design and manufacture large steel balls, hollow steel balls, steel gazing balls, hollow brass balls, hollow aluminium balls, stainless steel hemispheres, carbon steel hemispheres, brass hemispheres, aluminium hemispheres, steel water drop sculptures, steel pattern balls, steel globes, stainless steel sphere water features and fire pit balls.
We have worked with artists, sculptors, distributors and contractors from all over the world. We do not only supply products, we provide solutions for projects: installing instructions and design recommendations, with attention to your budget and your delivery date.
Visitors are welcome at our Shenzhen showroom.
Factory Capability
Everything below happens in our own workshop rather than at a subcontractor.
- Stamping press, water pressuring, spinning and hand assembling under one roof
- Plasma cutting to 16mm at 500 mm/min with a Hypertherm Powermax45
- 3D laser cutting for uniform patterns and hand crafting for irregular artwork
- Mirror polishing, brushing, sandblasting, etching and silk printing
- Vacuum metalizing, titanium electroplating, powder coating and spray painting
- Welding of base tubes, base plates, internal ribs and pedestals
- LED kit fitting inside spheres
- Segmentation and rib construction for spheres above container limits

Quality Control Flow
Incoming material
Alloy and sheet thickness are checked against the order before any blank is cut.
Forming check
Diameter and wall are measured after pressing, spinning or water pressuring.
Weld and grind
The equator weld is inspected, then welds and burrs are ground off before finishing.
Surface inspection
Every piece is inspected for scratches, dents and polish consistency under light.
Packing
Protective packing is built around the diameter and weight, and photographs are sent before dispatch.
