How An OEM Programme Runs From Enquiry To Shipment
Each stage below names the problem it exists to remove. Nothing here is outsourced to a third party you cannot reach.
- Platform SelectionChoosing from a catalogue without knowing what can change wastes weeks. We tell you up front which elements of each platform are open: colour, logo, packaging, and which are fixed without new tooling.
- Sample ApprovalColour and finish never look the same in a photograph. Free samples in 3 to 7 days so you check the physical unit against your range before committing.
- Branding SetupArtwork that works in print often fails on a curved housing. We adapt your logo to the print area and confirm placement on the sample before production.
- Packaging BuildLate packaging changes break carton maths and freight cost. Colour box and blister tray are finalised with the sample, and the carton spec is issued at the same time.
- ProductionVague lead times make launch planning impossible. 50 to 300 pieces in 4 to 10 days, 301 to 1000 in 5 to 15 days, stated on the quotation.
- Function Test and PackingDefects found by customers cost far more than defects found on the line. Light modes, heat, vibration and charge cycle are tested before units reach the colour box.
- ShippingFreight is quoted late and blows the landed cost model. Carton data goes out with the sample so your forwarder can price sea, air, rail or courier in advance.

OEM means an existing platform carries your brand. ODM means we develop the product itself to your brief, including a new housing and often new electronics.
How Fast Can An OEM Order Ship
Samples in 3 to 7 days. Production of 50 to 300 pieces takes 4 to 10 days and 301 to 1000 pieces takes 5 to 15 days, plus 3 to 9 days transit.
Can We Change The Housing Colour Without New Tooling
Yes. Colourways are changed within existing tooling. Changing the housing shape requires a mould, which is the private mould route.
Are Free Samples Really Free
We provide free samples so you can check colour and quality. Freight on the sample is normally arranged on your courier account.
