A container of PVC trunking reaches its volume limit long before its weight limit. That means the cost per metre delivered is decided by how well the profiles nest, not by the weight on the bill of lading.

Nesting is what makes the difference. Conduit stacks inside larger conduit, trunking bases nest into each other, covers nest separately, and fittings fill the voids. A load planned as separate pallets of each product wastes the air between them.

This is also the practical reason PPR pipe sits in our range alongside electrical goods. A buyer who sells plumbing from the same counter can fill the remaining volume rather than shipping air, and the freight for a full container is the same as for a half-empty one.

Ask for the loading plan with the quotation rather than after it. The plan changes the landed cost more than a small movement in unit price does, and it is the number that decides whether the order works.
