Conductor, foamed PE dielectric and shielding without the outer jacket, in RG6, RG59, RG7, RG8, RG11 and RG174 constructions.
The electrical performance of a coaxial cable is decided before the jacket goes on. Concentricity, foam density and shield coverage set the impedance and the return loss, and none of them can be corrected by a good jacket afterwards.
Buying the core lets a plant apply its own jacket compound, print and brand while inheriting a controlled electrical construction. Send us the construction sheet and we will quote against it rather than against a nearest equivalent.
