V-process replaces chemical binders with dry sand, plastic film and vacuum. The original Jianheng site treats it as a core identity.
Use it when the part is bulky and the surface must be cleaner than green sand. Counterweights, wear blocks, axles and heat trays on the old site are the hint.
Do not use it as a virtue signal on a flaskless iron cell that already hits CT and cost.
