The 2010 ABS catalogue on the original site lists this accessory as waterproof IP66, with membrane cable seals for cables from 6mm to 12mm diameter (other diameters can be ordered), UV-stable injection moulding.

Zwei vollständig wasserdichte, IP65-bewertete Kabelverschraubungen, die in einer Kunststoffbox montiert sind, ideal, um Kabel sauber und sicher durch Fahrzeug-, Schuppen- und Wohnwagendächer zu führen. Der Körper der Einheit sollte mit einem geeigneten Dichtmittel an der Oberfläche befestigt werden und kann für zusätzliche Sicherheit verschraubt werden. Nach dem Trocknen werden die Kabel durch die Verschraubungen geführt und die Sicherungsringe zu einer wasserdichten Dichtung festgezogen.
