When an 80 mm printer is the right width

The source catalog repeats 58–80 mm as the factory’s home format: barcode printers, portable thermal printers and the built-in printer inside the Android all-in-one are all described at that width.

Use 80 mm when the document is a retail receipt, a bank slip or a catering ticket — that is the wording on the 80 mm POS product title. Use a 3-inch or 4-inch label printer when the document is a shelf label or a courier waybill.

Nothing on the old site publishes print speed or dpi for the 80 mm line. Ask Mr. Mark for the current spec sheet before you write a number into an RFQ.
