A rendering settles the appearance and nothing else. The decisions that determine whether a hair tool is liked are thermal and mechanical, and neither can be assessed from an image.
We build a working prototype and measure it: heat-up time, recovery under load, surface temperatures, hand balance. Where the concept and the target price are in conflict, that shows up here rather than after tooling.
