This is magnesium territory. The type is small, the rules are fine and the plate has to reproduce them without the etchant rounding them off, which is a question of etch speed and undercut control rather than of the metal alone.
Die makers who buy plate, additive and machine separately spend a lot of time diagnosing which of the three caused a bad result. Buying them matched removes the argument, because the additive was formulated for the plate it is sold with.
