Pulp and paper, mining, marine and fire fighting duties, where the documentation package matters as much as the equipment.
These sectors share a characteristic that has nothing to do with the liquid: the equipment has to be accepted by somebody before it is allowed to run. A classification society, a fire authority, a mine safety inspector or a client's own engineering department will ask for drawings, test records and material certificates.
That is why the document package is published as part of the offering rather than as an afterthought. General design specification, general arrangement drawing, P&I diagram with parts list, electrical and pneumatic diagrams, DQ, IQ and OQ protocols, factory acceptance test and material test certificates of wetted parts are all part of what a plant needs in order to use the pump, not just to buy it.
